Wye Valley in the mist

About Us

Stay in the Wye Valley is a group of friends and neighbours based within two miles of each other in St Briavels and Hewelsfield on the slopes of the Wye Valley in Gloucestershire. We are not an agency, just friends co-operating together to help each other and our guests.

Each of us has our own property with the benefit of an attached or detached annexe on our land which we have opened up to visitors on a weekly or short break basis so that others may share and enjoy the beautiful scenery and facilities which attracted us here originally.

We have considerable local knowledge between us and can advise on walks, visits, tours, activities, entertainment and restaurants in the area. We are fortunate in having beautiful accessible scenery, extensive tourist attractions and excellent towns for shopping all either within walking distance or up to an hours drive.

We are able to accommodate parties of up to six adults between us who might want a joint holiday but with independent accommodation. We can arrange guided walks in the area for such parties at very reasonable rates.

At many times during the year there are festivals and shows in the area which can make a holiday here special. Examples are: the Brockweir Music Festival, the Abergavenny Food Festival, the Hay Book Festival, the Bream Jazz Festival, Open Arts & Crafts Studios, the Monmouthshire County Show, the Malvern Spring Show and the Two Rivers Folk Festival in Chepstow.
